This formula works exceptionally well. We were having an issue with our cat experiencing anxiety from a move and peeing on our brand new couch. Although the potty issue was resolved, the smell from the pee was not. I shampooed the cushions everyday with a professional shampooer and used an array of different enzyme products exactly how they were instructed to be used. Even products highly praised by both internet reviewers and pet store associates like Nature's Miracle and Dumb Cat enzyme spray weren't doing anything but masking the smell. Anytime you would sit on the couch for an extended amount of time you could definitely smell the pee. As a last ditch effort I purchased this product since it had great reviews and I was desperate for a solution. I followed the directions exactly as they instructed and wet the affected areas to reach the urine crystals (I did this with a shampooer, being sure to soak the cushions before removing the excess water). Then I applied a generous amount of Bubba's to the cushions, soaking the area to make sure it reached the center of the cushion and left sitting for 30 minutes. Once the solution had sat long enough, I used the shampooer to soak up the excess fluid and allowed the cushions to dry fully before placing them back on the couch. There isn't a trace of urine scent left- it worked like a charm! As an added bonus, it doesn't have a strong, overpowering scent to it which can sometimes be just as bad as the urine smell itself. I would highly recommend this product to anyone experiencing the same issue we were- just be sure to test the fabric before dousing your cushions in it as it could potentially remove coloring from certain materials.
