Reminds of something similar, but colourful.
I've played something like this before, but not in mobile form and not as colourful; it's called Echochrome on the PSP. Now that I've gotten that out of the way, let me say that I absolutely love this game. It is simple and entertaining. The puzzles itself are not overly complicated either. They are intriguing to the mind. Our seven year old got up to stage IX in two car rides (approximately 1.5~2 hours). I was able to complete all stages (including "dream" and "forgotten shores") in a couple of days, it may seem short but I've spent quite a number of hours doing so. The story was short but good. Yes, there's a story. Everything in this game reminds me of different elements taken from different games. Going through different stages and levels, I kept thinking of how it plays like Echochrome, but feels like Ico. Was this something they've had in mind during development? I'll never know, but that'd be a nice Easter egg. Everything in this game, visually is really pleasing. It is vibrant, but still manage to be quite subtle (humble? Zen?). Every time I " solve" a puzzle, I thought about how much time they've invested into it. It is quite thoughtful. That feeling when having figures it out was kind of like when solving a Portal puzzle. Not the same play style, but they involved puzzles that seem quite tricky but manageable, once you notice the key item/solution -eureka! It's satisfying. It's clever, it isn't something that you'll rage quit. I hope they will work on more projects. I will gladl try more of their work. Good luck, USTWO, hope to see you guys soon (your games, I mean, don't want to sound like a creep).
