This machine is very small. It offers 20 different sounds, however several are very similar so the overall options of unique sounds to choose from are less than you would expect. It doesn't offer alarm, night light or any of the frills but it is good at masking sound and giving you something that promotes a restful sleep. My daughter has been sleeping in my room during her visit and she has fallen in love too. Will run up to 5 hours and then turn off, or you can set it to run until you actually turn it off. Easy to take with you if you travel. I've not been disappointed.
