Bought this to use as a DIY project. The box was torn and punctured when it arrived. The upper portion on the left next to the little door actually had a very noticeable abrasion. Not to bad considering it had to make it's way all the to Hawaii. Didn't bother me too much because I was going for a distressed look anyway. Also, I bought some different knobs for it. The space saver is very solid and feels durable. I'd recommend building it in two pieces. Build the bottom and leave the cross bar off until you've placed the bottom portion where you want it, then you'll be able to see if you can even add the cross bar. Now you bring in the top portion and set it on top and screw it together.
