Ordered 3 of these due to the universal fit label. I looked everywhere to try to get a real idea of how universal these really are. I am 6'2 225lbs. 48 chest. This fit me fine with room to even size up to someone a little bigger, and yet they could be brought down to a size that my 5'0 100lb relatives could use. The open sides make these very versatile. I considered ordering the oversize for myself but I am glad that I did not. Very pleased with the versatility of these vests.
