Hands down the best litter system ever! I have been using the breeze system for over 5 years now. I had the regular box for my 20 lb cat. It was a tight squeeze! I would not recommend the regular sized box for a cat bigger that 20lbs. We got a new baby kitty so I bit the bullet and upgraded to the XL! No regrets! It’s huge and my fat man has plenty of wiggle room. It’s amazing for cat odors. You can’t tell we have 2 cats. It’s so easy to clean. It literally takes me under a minute to clean their box. PRO TIPS: I see a lot of comments on cheaper pad and litter options. I purchased some cheaper pad options on Amazon that were compatible with this box. However, I changed them more frequently due to the smell. I highly recommend that you stick with the tidy cats brand pads! They truly are odor free. I wound up not really saving due to changing the pads every other day. Let’s talk litter. Recently it’s been hard to find the pellets in stores. I did not want to spend $42 on a case at once online so I got the pine pellets. I see a lot of reviews raving on these but I do not recommend them for this box. When my cats tinkled it of course turns the pine ones into a wet sawdust like material. This falls through the cracks onto your pad and it fills up quickly. It made a HUGE mess when I changed it. A better alternative is pinto beans or something non porous. UPDATE: I have been using navy beans with much success. My kitties don’t notice (or even if they did) or mind the difference. I got the equivalency of 3 lbs of litter for less than $3. And the navy beans are white and look very similar to the TC PELLETS. Still loving our box!
