This comforter is amazing. I've slept for years under a cheap comforter I got at kohl's, and I often woke up sweaty or have to kick my feet out in the middle of the night to cool off. I finally decided to pony up and buy a good comforter and it's been amazing from night #1. I don't wake up sweaty anymore, I sleep soundly throughout the night, and my sleep is more restful because I'm actually comfortable. I've had to adjust my sleep schedule because I sleep soundly for a solid 8 hours so I need to be in bed sooner otherwise I sleep through my alarm. Having bought numerous down coats and sleeping bags over the years, I know what you want is actual goose down (not duck down, and definitely not feathers like in cheap comforters) and fill power. Down is awesome at regulating body heat so it's highly unlikely you'll ever get too much down fill in something. This comforter is 750 fill and it's warm, Fluffy and pretty heavy. It's like a weighted blanket and it's amazing. It's also full goose down and so far, in 2 weeks, I haven't seen a single tuft of down in my room and haven't felt any feathers in the comforter. I could keep going but I won't. Just buy it. Sweet dreams 3 month update: I bought this on July 4, and it's October 8 now. Through the hot part of the summer this was too hot, but I don't have AC, so it was 75-80 in my house. Most nights I was still able to use the comforter but only on part of my body. Now that October is here and the nights are cool (mid 50s) it's very comfortable at night and I love it all over again. I still recommend buying it for anyone in a moderate climate. You'll love it 80% of the year Sept 23,2022 - I still love this freaking comforter. Do yourself a favor and buy one
