Boy, this is a nice hat. The adjustable Velcro strip hidden in the headband is genius. So it fits perfectly. It also comes with an optional string thingy but that threatened my masculinity so I didn’t attach it. To tell you the truth, my masculinity is so easily threatened I wasn’t even sure a unisex hat was for me but I decided to take a risk and boy, am I glad. But here’s the other thing. It’s kind of a mystery. The hat comes with two foam adhesive strips and they’re not mentioned in the instructions. This perplexed me. Haunted me for days. (To be fair, I’m easily haunted.) The instructions seemed to cover everything else even though they seemed to be written by somebody who speaks English as a second or third language. But you know what? The top of the hat felt a little scratchy against my head. So I went out on a limb and put one of those foam strips on the inside where it touched my head and now, no scratchiness! Was that the point of the foam strips? Or did I use them wrong? I guess I’ll just have to live without knowing. I kind of look ridiculous in the hat but I’m okay with that. I like it. I may even start wearing it in public. **EDIT** I wore the hat on a family cruise and it didn’t blow off my head.
