My dog loves to chew on her paws....well, it's most likely allergies to grass, etc. When I use this shampoo/conditioner....she'll definitely decrease the chewing to almost nothing (sometimes I think it turned into a habit). But it works on my 14yo Silky Terrier. I have used this following the directions to wait the allotted time before rinsing (doing it twice as directed), and sometimes, I've rinsed her sooner. Either way it seems to work well (but probably better to leave it on longer of course). Her hair is always soft, silky smooth after use. It does not shine as much as another product I was using....but combating the chewing was most important to me. The smell is a tad sweet, but it's mild and somewhat pleasant. This is the second time I've purchased this shampoo, and definitely won't be the last. It's a very good product.
