Works great, easy to use, easy to adjust! For the price point of $10 I really agonized over this little stand to a ridiculous extent due to the 5 star reviews vs. the 1 star reviews. How could so many people think it was so great and yet, so many people think it was not so great or hard to use or break so easily? When it came right down to it it was the "break so easily" part that was getting to me. This product is aluminum and plastic. The adjustable piece at the back, we'll call it the support bracket - it is plastic, and the stand where your device is to rest is aluminum with a nice little foam cushion tucked in the bottom. As this is facing you, and you read the name "Anker" on the front, flip the stand onto its right side (right side down). There you see the grey button at the top of the stand. This is the only button that you can press in. Press it. It is the one and only button used to move the support bracket on the back into a good number of positions for your comfort...from folded flat to fully extended. Grabbing ahold of this support bracket without pressing in the grey button on the upper lefthand side is the only possible way I can see this little baby breaking so quickly upon receipt, unless there is intentional misuse or the unit is being drop, run over, stomped, etc.; it's pretty sturdy. I like mine, am happy I made the purchase and have attached a photo that is slightly illustrated; it might be helpful someday to someone. This stand works well with various makes/models of cellphones, iPad Mini, Samsung Galaxy Tab 3, Kindle Fire HD, Nook Color, Nook Color HD, Samsung Galaxy Tab 4.
