I've had this device for a few weeks. My problem was ants. They were coming out of the window sill and floor molding. hundreds of them would appear if my son left food in the room. (Luckily its the spare room). I sprayed ant poison around the molding all around the room and sprayed around the windows and then plugged in this device. It actually claims that this device will make more bugs appear at first because they are trying to escape from the noise any way they can. That's why i sprayed in the room so when they try to escape into the room they crawl through the poison. the first week i did see a lot of dead ants in the room. They would only make it an inch or two passed where they crawled through the poison. I would vacuum them up a couple times a week. Now i'm on week three and i don't see any ants anymore. This device also doesn't bother my dog but i leave it on the middle setting. There are 3 settings. the highest setting is piercing to the human ear but if you don't have pets and aren't home i suggest leaving it on that setting and then when you get back home, adjust to the first or second setting. I have 1 device plugged into the spare room that is 150 square feet. Works great. give it a shot. you wont be disappointed.
