So I ordered this on the 15th and it came in on the 17th. It took my brother and I 20 minutes to put it together as my cat supervised from the box. Once it was together my cat would only go on the bottom level because he's never had anything he could climb on that was that high. I sprayed the tower down with catnip spray and now he climbs all the way to the top level, which is quite a feat considering he's 14 pounds. He doesn't sleep on the top level cause they are a little small for him but he will sit on it and look down on us all since it's even taller than my brother. The stairs are cute but he won't use them, he'd rather jump. In all I'm very pleased with the whole transaction. This tower is much bigger and cheaper than the cat tower I was looking at at PetSmart. It holds up to my 14 pound ninja monster and he can even fit in the cubby holes. Plus it arrived in two days despite the fact that I didn't pay for two day shipping. I love Amazon! I didn't have to pay shipping at all! 5/22/12 So it's been a few days and he still loves it. He's started sleeping on the towers. I didn't think he'd fit but he does. He doesn't even sleep with me anymore. I'll always find him on his tower at bed time. The mice are still attached but he only plays with them sparingly. 7/9/13 It has been over a year. I've disassembled it and moved it twice and it's still good as new every time. My cat still loves it. If it's in the bedroom he opts to sleep on it and not the bed. He has little to no interest in the mice so they are still intact. He also doesn't really use the stairs but I've found from taking it apart and reassembling it that the stairs keep it steady. It gets a little wobbly without them. I've also lost screws when moving it and they were easily replaced at Home Depot. Also, the scratching posts aren't torn up but he is only one cat and there's nine posts. All in all he still loves it. He's still 14 pounds and still loves to sleep on the very top platforms. He also tries to climb the walls when he's at the very top. I have to say I LOVE this tower and I'm very pleased with it.
