I was looking for a solution to store backyard critter food in my garage. I originally seen this combo kit on Woot for the same price but came to Amazon for the free 2-day shipping with my Prime account. I use the bottom container for bird food and the top container for in-the-shell peanuts. The label states that the bottom container will hold 40 Lbs of bird food. I dumped two 20 pound bags into the container and still had room for my scoop. There was no mention on what the smaller container could hold but I was able to fill it with a 5 pound bag of in-the-shell peanuts with room to spare. Pros: Meets my storage needs. Casters make it easy to move around my garage floor. Containers are stackable. Cons: Container plastic seems to thin to hold up but time will tell. (See Update) Lid latch does not lock the lid. The lid will most likely open if the container is tipped over and will be easy for clever animals to open. Also, lifting from the latch/hinge sides is an issue due to the latch lid not being secure and if you're not careful you could dump out the contents when lifting. Mine did not come with the advertised casters or food scoop but I contacted IRIS USA, Inc and they responded quickly are sending me the parts. Also, the photos attached to my review were taken next to a 5 gallon bucket to give you an idea of the actual size. Update 11/02/2015: After using these containers for awhile I decided to order the kit again. My 1st one did not come with all the advertised parts but IRIS USA, Inc took care of that very quickly. My 2nd one came with everything so there was no need to contact them again. In my original review I mentioned the plastic was thin and did not look like it would hold up well. The larger container handles 40 Lbs of seed without issue and has been bumped into several times and is still holding up.
