Well……this is a great lid in terms of not leaking, nice handle, looks good. Problem is this lid makes you have to hold the bottle to the side of your mouth or you have to tilt your head like are going to kiss it. If you don’t adjust the angle of the canteen or tilt your head, your nose will run into the lid and then you look like a drunk throwing back a bottle of hard liquor just to accommodate the correct angle to take a drink. With that said, the lid would be good as a lid and if you need to drink from it, just unscrew it and drink straight from the canteen.
