I was actually pretty impressed and surprised by this product. I have a water Pik brand flosser and it's too loud, and too messy. This really was a impulse buy because woot had one, and I price checked and found it cheaper here (prime on top too). I've used it about 10 times so far, and the pressure is good, you're far less likely to make a mess. There are a few cons to using this over the water pik, but really they're trade offs. With a full water pick you have a much larger tank. With this portable unit you'll have to refill the tank once (using 2 tanks) to do your whole mouth. The water pick will also give you about 50% more pressure. The water pick has a small part that goes in your mouth, and is easier to hold The Waterpik isn't portable, this Aqua Flosser is. The Waterpik is loud as hell, and if you use the button to stop flow, you'll end up making a mess as it's hard to activate. The Aqua Flosser's button is easy to push and stops flow instantly. Never a mess! All of these types of flossers have to pump water with very little motors. They're going to be loud, but this wasn't as loud as I was expecting. When using this product, don't even try to fill it from the bottom plug. I don't know why it's even there. The blue tank slides out and clips in like a gun clip. Filling it this way is fast and easy, and much easier to fill than trying to pry that bottom plug which feels like it'll be quickly broken if I used that exclusively. Not a con really, just trying to help a fellow flosser out. P.S. If you have braces, this is a must buy. It's cheaper, works well, and less counter space & noise. Wish they had it when I had my orthodontia done.
