This little stand should really just come with the Apple Watch! It works great (most of the time-see below). The Apple Watch rests neatly in the holder and stops the Apple Watch from flopping around all over the place and falling to the floor which, of course, only increases the chance of a scratch or break to the display. Fortunately, this stand dramatically improves on the watch's stability while charging and helps it function more like a little traditional alarm clock (by virtue of the display being vertical and clearly visible). I appreciate the sticky bottom to help hold the stand in place because even with the stand and the watch, there's not really that much weight to hold it steady and in place. Initially, the sticky pad sort of dried out after a few days but I just moistened it up a little bit and now it's working great again. My only issue with this stand is that you have to be careful to check that the watch is seated correctly and actually charging, including making sure the Apple magnetic charger is pushed in as far as it can be into the holder. Otherwise, the watch will not charge and you'll wake up to a dead (or dying) Apple Watch, which has happened to me when I forget to double check that's it's seated properly.
