These work pretty well. I use them to drown out my husband's snoring. Usually I can't hear him at all. Some nights these are not enough, takes all my will power not to snuff him out with a pillow. Most of the time they're great. I can't hear the cat going nuts all night in the other room and am no longer bothered by the dog's snoring, scratching, or chewing either. Wish there was one more size smaller to purchase, but these at least don't cause excrutiating pain in my ears like the other sizes. I've even tried those weird rubber ones. Couldn't even go an hour with those. They have this strange stick handle thing that sticks so far out of your ear you can't lay on your side. Guess what, I just happen to sleep on my side..... If you have smaller lady type ears these seem to be the Best option.
