Honestly, when I opened the package, I felt my heart sink. The XL swim pants didn't look like they would fit a 12 year old girl much less a full figured chick like me. Despite my misgivings, I shimmied (or squirmed, depending on your perpspective) into these pants and was amazed that I actually love them. I am 5'8" and weigh 205, which usually translates into a size 14 jeans or 16 dress pant. I bought a size XL after looking at their sizing chart, and reading reviews. These swim leggings fit very snuggly, which is a good thing when swimming and diving. They are a nice thickness, and feel well made. I have to say, I am very pleased with my purchase. ***I paid full price for these leggings and did not receive any compensation for this review. I rely on reviews for honest evaluation of fit and function, so this is my 2 cents worth. Hope it helps.*****
