Medium size is not what I think of as medium men's shoe sizes.
This is an excellent sock, but the sizes run smaller than you would expect. I have attached a photo of the recommended shoe sizes for each sock size. I purchased medium socks for my size 9 feet and had to switch to a size large. As always, Amazon's policy for the exchange was excellent.
