So glad we purchased Basepaws Cat DNA test. We found out “Nittany” is a Siberian forest cat. After researching her breed her characteristics and mannerisms exactly fit! Spot On! Thanks to the Wildcat Index we now know she has Cheetah DNA. She exhibits this in her bursts of speed during walks. Even more amazing is her Mountain Lion DNA. Since we are Penn State Alumns we now have a real “Nittany Lion” at home! Look at the photos Nittany is on the left on top of her cat tree and a Siberian Forest Cat is on the right.
