Everything about this product is legit. I knew the filtering process would be slow so no worries here. The only downfall is the handle/spout cover materials. The spout cover doesn't flip when you pour so the water tends to go everywhere. The handle tends to bend at the slits down the middle when picking up/pouring.ive figured out a way to save time filtering the water though. I bought this 2.5 gallon jug from Walmart that the aqua gear filter bin sits in perfectly. I then turn the faucet on at the same rate as the filter.You just have to make sure it fits in your sink.'
