I purchased this product for our new rescue dog, Scooter. We were thoroughly convinced that he was a Beagle and wanted to be sure. Knowing his breed was very important to us so we would best know his potential behavior habits as well as possible medical issues. I did two swabs and sent them off as instructed. A few weeks later, the results came back. He was 63% mixed breed, 25% cocker spaniel, and 12% dachshund. Definitely not what I expected. I contacted the company, and they promptly replied with a very thorough and individualized explanation. They offered to look further into my concerns, so I sent them a picture of Scooter. They quickly sent back a special report of Scooter's DNA against those of several hundred Beagles. Scooter is definitely not a Beagle! I was so pleased that they took the time to explain doggie genetics to me, so thoroughly and so quickly. Their personal touch and excellent product gives it 5 stars!
