I put this heater in use at the beginning of December, 2012 and kept track of the power usage with a Kill-A-Watt meter for that month. I ran it for about 8 hours every night set at 65 degrees to keep the master bedroom warm while the whole-house thermostat was set at 60 degrees. For the month of December the heater used 112.39 kwh which at my electrical rate in Michigan cost $7.83 or 25.2 cents per day. I consider this to be very good. The house is well insulated with outside storm windows on the bedroom. The bedroom is 14x17 ft with an 8 ft ceiling that slopes up to 14 ft. The only downside that kept it from getting five stars is that it is a bit noisy.
