Must have for vehicle owners
I already used the torque Pro app with a wifi interface plugged into the obd2, but I like this Bluetooth one better, since it doesn't cut off the network and still works with the same app. With a vehicle these days, they are still mostly simple, but you just need to know their language and what they are saying is going on. This is my translator for telling me what is going on and what I want it to forget about n clear out of its noggin. Yea, a lot of places have these types of things, advertising letting you check codes to get them to fix your stuff or buy their parts, but I like to learn n figure out what's going on being mechanically inclined. It's necessary being able to clear codes on my wife's van when she pulls in at night, or knowing what simple part I can order. Was very necessary when I was stuck on the side of the highway because a vehicle with electronic throttle by wire, throttle body going was stuck in default emergency limp mode, so I cleared it out, got it home. Can't remember if that had a wiring intermittent issue or I did replace the throttle body, but it acted up a few times til I fixed whatever it was, cleared it, n got down the road again just fine without calling the wrecker or just limping down the interstate because it wouldn't let me accelerate.
