My favorite whistle (of three I tested)
I bought and compared the following whistles:
1. Fox 40 Sonik Blast CMG Whistle (Red)
2. Acme 636 Safety Whistle (Black)
3. UST Marine JetScream Whistle (Yellow)
I compared the three of them in the video (in that order). I think the Acme 636 Safety Whistle is best based on it's small shape, loud sound, and price. I think the Fox 40 Sonik Blast CMG Whistle is a close second because the sound is really similar to that put out by the Acme, and I like the soft rubber for gripping with teeth/lips. The UST Marine JetScream Whistle was disappointing. I blew with the same force I did with the other whistles and most of the sound was just a rush of air rather than a whistling sound.
