I LOOOOVE this brush. To give you some background, I am Black and Dominican. I have 3C natural hair and my daughter has 4C natural hair. This brush TRULY does detangle your hair. It also thoroughly clumps your hair so that conditioner, oil, etc is evenly distributed throughout your hair. I used to have to work with the Denman brush on my hair and it was just a no go on my daughter. I was pleasantly surprised because I have tried several different kinds of "detangling" brushes.
