Not Silent
The DREO company here at Amazon stated that these heaters are silent. They are not silent as you can hear by watching the video I uploaded. You will see and hear in the video that every time the red heat symbol in the display turns on and off, there is a loud sound as if a switch is being turned on and off. I bought 2 of these heaters and they both do the exact same thing.
I set the thermostat to my desired temperature. I put the heater on ECO. The heater is designed to maintain the desired temperature, of course, which means it has to turn the heat on and off all day and/or night as long as the power is on. Each time the heat turns on and off, as shown by a red heat symbol in the display, a loud, distracting, and annoying sound is heard. This is especially annoying if trying to sleep or wanting to read a book in quiet.
As far as the rest of the heater goes: I agree with the other reviewers who think the power cord should not be attached at the front of the heater. I also agree that the wheels at the bottom are rather cheap and do not allow for smooth gliding and steering while moving the heater around. These 2 issues themselves would not have been a dealbreaker for me, however.
The accuracy of the internal room temperature sensor is also off, but I think all heaters that have the temperature sensor inside the unit cannot be accurate since it has to be affected by the heat coming off the unit. I think the only way to get accuracy is if they had the temperature sensor on a wireless separate unit away from the heater.
