Great alternative to prescription NSAIDs for our older German Shepherd. Take it from me: I don't usually write product reviews. We decided to try these because of the possible side effects of Rimadyl. Our almost 10-year old Sasha seems to be doing better on these than the Rimadyl. We can get three bottles for less than the cost of one 30-day prescription of Rimadyl, which is an added bonus. It is not about saving money; it's about her overall comfort and happiness. With this, she doesn't have to go to the Vet to have her blood drawn and kidneys checked as she did on Rimadyl. After just three days on this, we noticed she was "springier" and pulling on her lead during walks. We live overseas in a three story home. The steps that once seemed to cause her discomfort are no longer an issue! She follows me up to the third floor every time I go and believe me, this is a tremendous improvement. She seems to think these are a tasty treat. At 85 pounds, she gets two in the morning and two at night. I'm also pairing it with a canine glucosamine supplement ans she's feeling so good.
