Purchased this set several times. Some were poor quality (pillow cases fell apart quickly) but usually they are good. Smooth. Comfortable. True black color. Deep pocket, fits mattress and stays in place. I've tried more expensive brands; some are slightly better quality and slightly more comfortable but WAY more expensive. In comparison, this sheet set is the best overall value at $20. If you're cool with "pretty good" quality for a low price, this sheet set is for you.
