My 6 year old gets frequent ear infections and with covid happening I dont want to take my daughter to the Drs unless absolutely necessary so i got this set so I can take a look at her ears if she has any issues before deciding to take her to a dr. We have a close friend that is a nurse so sge can take a look for me too. The set comes in a nice leather case which helps to keep everything organized. All the tools feel sturdy and everything worked well. You do need batteries which aren't included.
