Love this fence; we needed an easy way to gate off my mother's porch for her little dog. This worked perfectly, was easy, and looks nice. Since we had enough panels, we also used it along the side railing to prevent her from squeezing through (zip ties attached it to the fence). We made a "gate" by using 3/8" X 2 1/8" cotterless hitch pins: simply insert an eye screw into the wood post, and the pin slides through that and into the channel on the fence (that the posts slide through) [see pics]. The pins can be attached to the eye screw so that it can simply be dropped once pulled out. It works great - one on the top and one near the bottom keeps dog from pawing the gate open. We chose this because it was a little taller than the 4 panel set, and because we had 8 panels, we were able to use the last 3 to fence off the kitchen when desired. These are lightweight, so easy for my mother to move around. I was happy to find a fencing solution that could be used outdoors. Yes, as others have mentioned, the caps on the rods do pop off sometimes, but a little glue seems to do the trick. Even with this flaw, we love this fencing. I always just use metal xpens, but my mom wanted something a little nicer looking. I recommend this product, and would definitely purchase again.
