When my ophthalmologist explained what was wrong with my eyes and told my about Systane, it was an amazing day. First off, I thought I just had either super sensitive eyeballs or kamikaze eyelashes, because I walk around with a constant feeling like there is something in my eye. So the reason why Systane feels so thick and weird as compared to Visine (this totally weirded me out at first) is because it is kind of like Astroglide for your eyes. But it makes life SO MUCH BETTER. I can wear mascara again! I can read for longer periods of time! I don't have to stop everything when I do get something in my eye because of the excruciating pain!
