I was in the market for an electric broom (as I call them) that would work efficiently and not break my wallet. Having two siberian huskies in Florida in the summer PLUS three kids - I needed something that was built to last. The Bissell name instantly caught my eye and the fact that it is rechargeable basically sold me on this vacuum. It was easy to assemble, easy to read instructions, put together in under a minute. Plugged it in and let it charge. Easy to use, lightweight, even my 3 year old son is able to use it. So far I've used it on kitchen tile and hardwood floors. Easy to clean - the canister pops off with minimal pressure - all the dirt is caught inside until you are ready to dump it out (see the picture). Is great to use even around baseboards. It works so well I am going to get one for my mom! It's great for cleaning up dog hair and with huskies I vacuum A LOT. A million times better than a broom and it's from a company with a name you can trust. Definitely recommend.
