I needed a trench coat because I like to wear racy things and cocktail dresses a lot. I bought this because I needed something that would cover me up, but still look elegant and sexy. I’m 5’6” and weigh 150-160 pounds. I bought a medium and it fit well. I could probably fit a small, but I don’t like when sleeves feel tight around my armpit area and this way if I want to layer clothes underneath, it will still be comfortable. The fabric of the coat is the type where if you spilled something on it, you could wipe it right off. It’s not a winter coat. It’s pretty light weight. The only thing I would criticize is that the bottom part is too wide for my taste, but it still looks good.
