As a LASIK patient who lives in the desert and stares in a microscope or at a computer screen all day, eyedrops are important. I've tried long lasting ones, to avoid having to reapply during the workday, but they were goopy and sticky. My optometrist recommended Systane Ultra by name, and suggested I put it in at night. I usually end up reapplying in the morning but these do seem to be longer lasting than most, minus the goop. Haven't found anything better, that's for sure.
