After submitting a mediocre review of this product, I was contacted by the company's customer service. The problem I had was that a large plate set on the scale would cover the display making it impossible to read. Customer service wanted to make this right, and offered me a partial credit on my purchase. I refused because there is nothing "wrong" with the scale…it just didn't fit my needs. They gave me a great tip, which took care of the problem. To set a bowl on the scale first, then place the plate on top. That creates a pedestal, lifting the plate out of the way and exposing the digital readout. Problem taken care of! Impressed with a company that would go to the trouble of making it right!
