A solid choice for the S9. Much easier to handle the phone especially for someone in their mid 70s who is new to smartphones. I used a credit card as a squeegee to try to get the air bubbles out from between the screen and screen protector. They were still visible upon installation. However, after a day or two they were completely gone. The touch response is good but at times it's just a bit off even with the phone set for a screen protector. I can't speak for the screen protector's durability as mine is relatively new. The kickstand works great. Just have to make sure it locks into place which isn't a big deal. No issues getting the power cord in to charge it. Right angled headphone jacks aren't a problem either. The sound volume and quality is slightly less with the case and screen protector on. I'd say about 90% of normal. With the case on, the buttons work flawlessly. Just make sure the left and right sides are popped into place correctly. I ran my fingernail along the left and right sides pulling up slightly. If this is a case for a new phone, make sure you have your micro SD card installed prior. Taking the case apart can be a bit of a challenge and I doubt the screen protector can be used again.
