This in-line fan is much stronger and more effective than the two previous ones I purchased at Home Depot. I have a room on the second floor of my colonial home that just does not get as much heat to it as the other rooms. With the previous in-line fans, I could only get the temperature to raise about two or three degrees over no use of an in-line fan. This fan boosts the temperature at least five of more degrees. The room is actually comfortable now when the furnace runs. The fan is much louder than the Home Depot purchased fan (not intolerable though), but that is to be expected because it pushes more air.
