I bought this strictly for epilating my upper lip, chin and neck area and it works perfectly for this. It is a bit painful but I expected that anyway....I am not going to kid myself that yanking out multiple hairs with any method is going to be a fun time. But it's efficient and much faster than hand tweezing. My upper lip never felt so smooth! I gave it 4 stars because it's not cordless, but the cord is long enough that I can live with it. Update: I decided to try the epilator on my legs. Waited till after my shower and followed the advice of others who said to push the skin taut and that worked well. Doing my legs was a bit less painful....probably because the face is more sensitive. The unit did a real nice job and I am looking forward to the possibility of not having to shave my legs any more.....wouldn't that be nice. :)
