This is a great monocular! I have a pair of binoculars from the same company and they are great. I go birding in Central Park in NYC regularly and I was getting tired of having to take my iPhone adapter on and off of the binoculars so that I could switch between taking photos and using the binoculars to spot. Now I use the binoculars to spot and use this monocular as a telephoto lens for my iPhone and it works great. On Day 1 trying this out I got great photos of a Hummingbird Moth from about 10 feet away and of turtles basking from about 20+ yards. The monocular works better than the binoculars for photography in my opinion because it's easier to hold and faster to focus. Also, when I am not planning on going birding I can just throw the monocular in my backpack and have it in case I see something interesting; it works great as a spotting scope on its own. Highly recommend! Great product!
