When I was looking for a cooking kit for our upcoming camping trip, I considered a tonnn of options. Ultimately I settled on this one because it came with a pot and pan, doubling as a lid to shorten cooking time, and as a bowl for eating. It came with a stove so I didn't have to buy separately, and also came with a stainless cup for coffee. The only thing I added to the package was a clip on silicone strainer which does fit within the kit. For the fuel I picked up a Coleman 7.75 ounce performance canister which fit the stove perfectly. I'm using it right now indoors and there is no gas smell. I was very impressed by the quality of the stove. Granted, I have never had one before this one, but it seems very sturdy and it worked perfectly the first time. I'm using the pot right now to cook boil in a bag rice, and even on the high setting the pot is not scorching. I am very excited to use this kit in the real world. I will update this if something doesn't go as planned. I have added a photo with some items for size reference.
