Use a gel base, 90 sec cure in LED/3 min UV
I've been a professional nail tech for 16 years, and this is my preferred brand of hard gel. I've noticed other comments about the product peeling off, and I'm going to have to assume, based on my many years of experience with this product, that gel base coat was left out of the process. It is absolutely necessary for proper adhesion, even more so than primer or dehydrator. Try this method: GENTLY prep nails with a fine buffer or arbor band w/e- file. Dust off. *dehydrator and/ or primer is only needed if you have hyperhydrosis or "oily"nails. Apply thin coat of gel base. Cure 30 SECONDS ONLY. ***(This is important, as the partial cure actually makes a stronger bond with the hard gel) *** Apply IBD hard gel in zones for tips and forms (on tip and over the seam/ free edge, then from cuticle over the edge of the first zone) OR apply a thin layer over natural nails as an overlay. Cure 90 seconds in UV/LED or 3 min in the UV bulb light. File and shape, then contour and buff if necessary. PS if you're using tips, make sure to buff off the shine and get the seam as flush with the natural nail as possible. If you skip this step, the gel will not stick to the plastic and it will crack and delaminate.
