I bought these to use for Taxol, AC and other chemotherapy treatment where you need to ice your hands and feet to avoid neuropathy. There is double the amount of circulation in these extremeties, so to avoid excess chemo drugs settling into your hands and feet and giving you numbness and tingling ( sometimes lasting long term) I use these. They are extremely helpful and I freeze the slippers in the freezer and use. Excellent and the price is right.
