I've had these for a few days now and pretty much love them and wear them all the time. No need to use the Bass Boost. Bass is well represented as is. However, I did find it useful to use the Bass Boost when listening to TuneIn radio - some of their broadcasts can be a bit tinny. I tested Beats Music, Spotify, Rdio, & Google Music with my Samsung Galaxy 3. I found that Spotify sounded the best in conjunction with an EQ. I also listen to podcasts through BeyondPod. Everything sounds great - I would characterize it as a warm, soft sound. The headphones are very comfortable - they also function well as ear muffs here in the NY winter! The NFC Easy Connect app works well with this product and makes connecting to my phone via Bluetooth a breeze. It's awesome not to have wires in your way any more. Bluetooth connections are solid, range is good, and there is little to no leakage. Build quality is high. Telephone calls work without incident and are clear both ways. Battery life is awesome. The only reason that I did give them give 5 stars: They are very bulky. I feel like Lando Calrissian's aide in The Empire Strikes Back. I know I must look like a dork but they are very comfortable and sound awesome (especially for a Bluetooth device).
