These are better quality than I expected and I am pleased with the overall size and fit. I am 5'11" about weigh 165lbs and my actual waist over the navel measures 30" and my lower waist where the waistband of these shorts fit measures 32" around. Based on the descriptions for a 32" waist, I ordered the size L but I think I could have gotten away with a size medium as well. I have muscular thighs but not bulging like the model in the photos so these fit a bit looser on me. The polyester fabric feels soft and lightweight, similar to running short material from brands like Nike. The fabric is woven so it is not very stretchy but they do have some 'give' when you pull on them. The seams are coverstitched and the raw edges inside are neatly serged. The two side pockets are roomy and constructed with invisible zippers for a streamline appearance along the side seams. There is a mesh panel that runs across horizontally under the yoke for style and breathability. The waistband is elastic with a drawstring cord that runs over it inside the band for extra support. There is no problems with running them through the washer and dryer. They dry very fast because of the lightweight polyester material and wrinkle free.
