Works as advertised! Couldn’t be more pleased with the results of this product. I wish I had a before/after pic but all I have is an after. I was so stoked on how my new lawn looked throughout most of the spring until the temperatures started to stay up. Then I soon became very disgusted with it after I applied Milorganite a week before Memorial Day. I was scratching my head as a rookie homeowner to the world of DIY lawn care. A little History Back last year in late April (2018) I seeded the lawn of our newly constructed home. I was so happy of how it looked only to see it start to die off in late June early July. So I did what most people would do. I called a professional lawn care company (Lawn Doctor) because I thought they would know how to cure and/or feed my quickly dying new lawn because I was clueless. A few months after hiring them, I could still seen my grass dying off. I contacted the company and their only response was “this process takes time and we need to kill off all the weeds so that’s probably what you’re seeing”. WRONG!! What I was seeing (and know now from this year) is the results of untreated lawn disease/fungus that most “lawn care” companies don’t treat for that issue. All they could keep telling me in their monthly treatments is that I needed to purchase their “overseed and aeration” service this fall to make my lawn look great. I already paid them $500 of a yearly treatment plan of $1800. So I said I’m gonna just do it myself and power-seed it in the Fall (2018) and figure out how to feed and care for my lawn to save these folks from taking anymore money from me. Again like I stated earlier...Spring came and my lawn looked awesome. I was blown away with how thick and green it came in. But then here come an early heatwave in May. Lawn looked great so I thought I’ll throw down some Milorganite because of the reviews I’ve read about it being organic. Put it down and by the next week I thought I had burned my lawn because it started looking brown all over and brown spots started to appear. Thank God for the folks on YouTube (How to with Doc, Lawn Care Nut, and Ryan Knorr) because I soon started to read and watch videos on “Lawn disease and fungus”. Purchased this product and again...WELL WORTH THE MONEY!!! Thanks for reading my short story but wanted to help others out if I could....God Bless!!
