Beware of acidity / Don't use in Styrofoam
Update: I had added some MCT oil to my Styrofoam cup and it started to melt it. SO I reran the experiment and it put a hole in my coffee cup within a minute or two. I should have done the experiment over the sink.
I found that taking a swig of this at times that I was not eating fat (e.g., at lunch when I was eating a salad), this seemed to reduce cravings afterward. So it is goof fat for powering the brain on a low-carb diet.
Beware, on a low-carb diet, you can tend to have more acids than alkaline. I really was not using every day, but one day I took it 2-3 times, I believe twice a day is the max, and it contributed to me having a short term high acid level (said the ER doc) . So it can be a little harsh if you tend to get GI acidity problems. Make sure to take with food.
