Epic, except... I can't give it five stars.
I absolutely love how compact this stroller is. The fold is glorious. I live in a small Boston apartment and compact is a BIG deal. I generally don't buy a product unless it is either multi-purpose and/or incredibly compact. The fabrics are fantastic; they seem durable and soft at the same time. Those things make it worth it to me for the price that I paid on Amazon. There is a slight drawback to the telescoping fold… The handles prepare to fold much like the telescoping handle on a rolling suitcase and there's a bit of give to the structure when it is extended. This does not bother me terribly as I'm aware this is a very new and innovative design but I've had some suitcase handles that were incredibly sturdy and I feel like GB needs do better for the price point. I definitely would not have paid the full price that target or babies R us are charging due to some of the drawbacks. That being said, there's two features that they could have added and should add for the future model that would not have gotten in the way of the ultra compact fold and drastically increase function. There are many umbrella strollers that allow for a slight recline by using two zippers on either side of the seat back. This slight recline would add tremendously to the function of the stroller. Second thing I would add is two triangles of the same stretch fabric that the sun shade is made out of on either side of shade with an elastic loop at the end of each that would connect to the bolts that the seat fabric is already attached to. The sunshade as is is fairly ineffective and blows back in the slightest wind. So to GB: three notes that would transform the stroller making it a 10 star product… Increasing the strength of the telescoping handles, Zippers on either side of seat allowing for a slight recline, triangles of fabric on either side of sunshade that would loop two bolts on side rails making it a more effective shade and allowing it to be held down in wind (by adding one more layer of the stretch fabric not sewn down on sides to the sunshade creating a pocket on either side, the two triangles of fabric can be stored inside of this pocket).
