Read the reviews, bought it anyway. I also experienced the fingerprint reader not working until I realized if it doesn't read the exact fingerprint you stored, like the exact position you stored, it won't open. I haven't had any issues with unstored/ kids fingerprints opening it. The keypad backup is nice, just in case. The blue light when it opens is bright enough to see what you're doing. Made from heavy steel. The only change I would make is making the fingerprint reader a little larger so it can read a while fingerprint, not a partial one.
