Over the years, I've tried pretty much every cookie press on the market to make our traditional spritz butter cookies at Christmastime. Year after year, I'd struggle with a crummy press, and buy another one for next year. I even scoured the antique stores to find an old, all-metal one like my mom's! Finally (thanks to Martha Stewart, actually) I found this one. And my cookie press search ended. This press is very well made. It's sturdy metal, and nothing bends or falls off. Dough goes through just as it's supposed to. The molding disks are strong and don't bend from the dough pushing through (a lot of other brands do that.) If you're going to buy ONE press, buy this one. It's far better than the others.
